Cake Boss : Season 1 (DVD, 2010, 2-Disc Set) NEW+SEALED If you can dream it, Buddy Valastro, the Cake Boss, can make it into a lip-smacking, eye-popping confectionery tour de force. Get inside the wildly inspired and determined mind of renowned cake artist Valastro, as he navigates the logistics - and creative engineering - it takes to make his one-of-a-kind cakes. In Buddys Hoboken, New Jersey kitchen, where he supervises a team that includes his mother, four older sisters and three brothers-in-law, youll be drawn into the perpetual, albeit delectable, mix of chaos and creativity. In 13 action-packed episodes, youll discover that nothing is impossible as Buddys team creates cakes such as a roulette table, a zombie, a prehistoric mammal, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and a tiki cake that spits fire! Deadlines, client demands, and the pressure of working with family creates an obstacle course of unfailing drama. However, this unique family also understands that, as they pursue their fathers dream of making Carlos City Hall Bake Shop a household name, the crucial ingredient is love. |
